Why fashion models are secretly broke [Sad truth]
In a shocking expose written in the Daily Beast, a revelation within the fashion world has some mouths talking. The expose revealed that many of the biggest fashion models in the world — are actually mired in debt due to not being paid much by their top-designers.
Most of the models are actually okay with being paid in clothes, as anyone in the fashion world knows, the models in question receive some of the highest paying gigs ever.
Designers like Marc Jacobs, Chanel, and several others apparently pay most of their ladies in prestige [celebrity], and high-end clothing. The reasoning? ‘Prestige’ and the clothing given to the models leads to the occasional big-time [paying gig].
Well, we know one thing, good thing none of these models pays too much for food every month.
