Oopsie: There are hundred(s) more phone hacking victims in the U.K
LONDON, ENGLAND: Well, we sure didn’t see that coming (sarcasm). According to Hugh Tomlinson, who spoke at the High Court in Britain today — there are ‘hundreds’ more phone hacking victims involved in the now historic News of the World hacking scandal.
The victims could demand hundreds of thousands more pounds from News International.
“I think we have got an agreement which protects the freedom of the press … but also protects the rights of people not to have their lives turned upside down,” a senior opposition leader said.
