1.) Publish America

Publish America or simply (P.A) is a notorious vanity publisher probably legendary for spam emails promoting themselves begging for money scamming their customers. P.A books are not sold in any brick stores like Barnes & Noble, Borders, Books a Million etc. (Yes, they are sold online, and that is it…). You will never find your book on the shelves in any one of these stores despite what P.A or any one else might actually tell you. A quick phone call to any one of these stores, and you will be told exactly the same thing.

Publish America is also notorious for failing at book-editing. P.A almost never edits their books, and if a writer, say submits a book full errors on purpose — then that’s how the book is going to appear when it does get published. The major downer? Publish America does not pay out royalties whatsoever.

P.A representatives will swear to the ends of the earth no copies of your book were sold, but that is untrue. No matter how hard thou tries to gain access to true royalty reports, one will never be successful.  A $1 advance is ‘sent to new authors’ that folks, is about all you’ll ever see from Publish America (financial wise anyway) other than that; you’ll get: Hundreds of spam-emails containing false advertisements daily, threats from representatives if you dare question them, and phony cease and desist letters.

2.) Tate Publishing

This is another Vanity publisher Daily News recommends new authors stay far away from. Tate Publishing presents itself as a traditional publisher operating business ‘The Christian Way’. However, this is farthest from the truth.  Tate does indeed operate, but not in a good way (to say the least). T.P like Publish America is not carried in traditional stores (like B&N) whatsoever. The books, are, like Publish America; sold online that is it). Tate falsely claims in its contract that books are sold in various stores throughout the United States; however a quick Google search of any one of their titles does not turn up in any of the stores on the contract.

Movie Title: The Purge

Comments: Absolutely terrifying. If Mitt Romney would’ve become U.S President, this is probably what the United States would’ve been subjected to.

The world trapped in james DeMonaco’s The Purge is absolutely a frightening one. Human empathy is nothing of concern as roving bands of violent marauders utilize a government-approved event to ‘cleanse’ mankind of the impoverished and homeless.  Those unable to actually defend themselves from what has become the ‘social norm’ of American life are forced helpless as citizens who feel an obligation to vent their frustrations through a rather terrifying ‘reliever’… murder.

The impact of the Purge annually, is jaw dropping. Unemployment dropping to nearly below 1% and crime being almost entirely eradicated;  the sacrifice of compassion has created a seemingly perfect society (minus one night a year) cultivated by the most horrific acts one could think of. People, beware, if Mitt Romney (or someone similar in the future) becomes President of The United States…. This could be your future.  (The Purge…  is an almost spot-on example of what a dictator Republican presidency would’ve/would-be like.

One matter, for one specific family, however, this acceptance of what has become is quickly revealed to be a violent form of class warfare called into sudden question as they find themselves on the receiving end of the deadliest night of the year. James Sandin, (Ethan Hawke),  the town’s peddler of high-tech security systems settles in with his family – wife Mary, played by Lena Headey, and children Zoey and Charlie — for the annual Purge.  After his son, Charlie, witnesses a homeless man yelling (better yet proclaiming for help) on the family’s security camera, he disables the system to let him in — unknowingly unleashing the wrath of a team of masked invaders who want to claim the homeless man for themselves.

The film over-all has a political edge to it so similar to modern-society it’s almost petrifying.  The Purge is one cup fiction, but two cups non-fiction a mix of political-wrongness and political-warfare.

Zing.  Papers filed in federal court reveal that because of that Blige now owes $3.4million in back taxes. Zing.  But that’s not all — documents further revealed that Blige and her husband apparently defaulted on a $2.2million loan from Manhattan’s Signature Bank and welp, they’re now seeking full repayment and $58,000 in interest.

But it gets better.. The state of New Jersey is also apparently coming after Blige for $900,000 in state taxes that she obliviously forgot to pay for three consecutive years.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: A desperate search remains underway today in Oklahoma City in a final bid to save the lives of hundreds of people believed to be trapped in rummage following a deadly tornado that pulverized the city yesterday. The Nat’l Guard was reportedly dispatched this morning to the city to help rescue workers find the remaining survivors — the death count has been lowered to 24.

Note: Daily News wrongly reported that the death count had risen to 91, a report in the Daily Mail signaled such information. We were able to confirm with NBC NEWS that the count dropped to 24.

According to additional reports, police have dispatched heavy security to the area in an attempt to halt looters who have entered the area.

This morning, it was confirmed that  another 4 individuals who attempted to seek shelter in their freezer died along with their two young children.  24 students still remain at large, and are missing.
