Olympics star Gabrielle Douglas can smile all the way to the bank (and maybe skip too)
LONDON, ENGLAND: Gabby Douglas, who wouldn’t want to be Mrs Douglas right about now? Three weeks ago, the name Gabby Douglas surely wasn’t broadcasted all across major news websites or television screens, but today Douglas experienced a quick rise to the top both financially and personally.
Thanks to last weeks gold medal in the all-around competition, and her history making medal (the same one) for being the first person to win the all-around competition Douglas pretty much set herself up for boku bucks upon returning to the United States.
Just ask Navigate Marketing, a Chicago based marketing firm who had nothing but glowing things to say about Douglas’s outstanding performance.

Gabby Douglas fails to repeat Olympic glory
LONDON, ENGLAND: The ‘Sharp Shooter’ as we at Daily News have begun to call her, unfortunately didn’t quite make it to the top at the North Greenwich Arena last night as she underwent a timing mishap that landed her in last place.
Following the match, Douglas has this to say about her mix-up:
“I could have fought a little harder and pulled it around,” she said. “I tried to finish as strongly as I could, but some days you either have it or you don’t.”

The champion! Gabby Douglas soars to all-around gold at London Olympics
Who did more loop de-loops than any other Gymnast? Gabrielle Douglas. Who balanced on the deadly-if-you-dare balance beam and owned it? Gabrielle Douglas.
That was the name thousands were cheering on as Douglas soared her way to gold tonight winning the all-around competition with a whopping 62 points. The 16 year old Gymnast left her parents home in Virginia Beach, VA at the age of 14 to perfect her craft in Iowa.
Little did she expect, two years later she’d be a world champion gymnast with gold medals to her name.

London Olympics: Gabrielle Douglas an all around favorite in Gymnastics
Gabby Douglas, or as I’ve referred to her as — ‘Mrs Tightrope’. Douglas is among the top favorites at this weeks all-around gymnastics competition in the London Olympics.
However, Douglas has quite an interesting ride to get to that point. In the previous competition facing off with world champ Jordyn Weiber; Douglas actually fell off the balance beam one time even though she effortlessly made it seem so routine — losing one point and the title to Mrs Weiber.
Douglas’s comeback landed her as a top competitor and a favorite in tomorrows all-around competition; having already helped the U.S win gold in the team competition.
