Google to be ‘anti piracy’ officer

SILICON VALLEY, CALIF: Website owner? You just may want to check the standings of your beloved site as you continue to read this very article. According to a new blog post posted by Google Inc, the search engine giant has rolled out what they’re calling an attempt to ‘crack down on internet piracy’.
But with a move like that, also comes criticism with some Public Knowledge groups saying the move is ‘uncalled for’ as many legal sites that see millions of visitors a day could fall into the category of sites that see lower search rankings — sometimes due to false reporting to Google.
Google’s answer? Google claims that all 4.7million of its ‘Copyright claims’ this month have been nothing more than those pertaining to torrent

Google, probably just as famous for its perks to employees as it is its iconic search engine and its services — has done it again. The search giant revealed yesterday just how generous they are to their employees, even for those who died while working for the company.
Say, one worked at Google for 10 days and died on the 11th made about $19 an hour and clocked out at some $90,000+ year in salary, said spouse of dead employee would receive half of that salary for the next decade as part of the benefits from Google provided.
