4 Cities You Must Visit During the Fall Months

If you love all things fall, you may like to vacation during your favorite month. Whether you love the breathtaking views of the leaves changing colors, the crisp air, the comforting foods associated with fall, or things like fall festivals and Oktoberfests, there will be plenty to do on a trip during this beautiful season.

Denver, Colorado

Get yourself to Denver in October! The leaves are brilliant in Denver during the tenth month of the year, and you can get some outstanding views of the foliage from the Cherry Creek Regional Trail and the High Line Canal. 

Another bonus of visiting in October is the multiple beer fests occurring, including Denver Oktoberfest and the Great American Beer Festival. Fans of brews will also enjoy Denver in the fall.

Burlington, Vermont

Burlington is a quintessential New England city, perfect for fall foliage. If you want to see all of the gorgeous hues of autumn in Burlington, be sure to head there in late October or early November.

While you are there, there is also plenty to do in the fall. You can watch the sunset of Lake Champlain, check out all of the local shops at Church Street Marketplace, or visit the Shelburne Museum, just south of the city.

Portland, Maine

You can enjoy a California getaway for a fraction of the price, and the fall weather in Santa Barbara is sometimes preferable to the spring or summer weather.
