White House: Now a wedding registry

Got an event coming up? Wedding? Birthday? Say even an anniversary? Well, Barack Obama’s re-election campaign would like you to know that the White House has turned itself into a ‘wedding registry’.

That simply means that the White House is hoping that you’ll nix requests for wedding gifts (and then some) while instead asking your guests  to donate a cool $20 to the re-election campaign for Mr Obama.

Would you do it?
