FBI worried Marilyn Monroe was communist

According to the Associated Press, new documents unredacted from Marilyn Monroe’s FBI files show concerns that the late screen legend may have been a communist.  Some of the actresses acquaintances sparked worries within the FBI, apparently.

The FBI says that they attempted to redact files from Monroe’s own file earlier this year but could not find the correct ones at the time.
