Pacers Hold Off Knicks in Tight Conference Semifinal Matchup

The Indiana Pacers edged out the New York Knicks 116-103 in a hard-fought battle at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night. The win gives the Pacers a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven conference semifinals series

The game remained close throughout, with neither team able to pull away by a significant margin. Indiana’s balanced scoring attack proved to be the difference, as six Pacers players reached double figures in points. Malcolm Brogdon led the way for Indiana with 25 points, while RJ Barrett paced the Knicks with 22 points.

The Pacers’ defense was also a key factor in the victory. They were able to contain the Knicks’ high-powered offense, forcing turnovers and contesting shots effectively. New York struggled to find their rhythm offensively, shooting just 42% from the field.

The series now shifts to New York for Game 2, where the Knicks will look to bounce back and even the score.
